DEFENDER

Chris Conrad

How can I find myself
Do you think you can help
He always told me to lead not follow
But yet inside I feel hollow
I’m not an attacker
I’m a defender
And I will never surrender
I am noble
And I am humble
My anger is like a wild bonfire
I will do my best to climb that spire
I’ll take on all of them, no matter how tall
Because I will defend till the day I fall
You push me, I’ll push harder
Even when defeated I’ll come back stronger
I look small but I have the strength of a man
So go ahead hit me, as hard as you can
Just know when I hit you, don’t cry
And the last thing you’ll see is my fist fly by
I will tell you once, if you mess with me
Then an all out brawl is what they’ll see
You mess with my family
Then you’ll be a forgotten memory
People who hurt others make me sick
So come here, let’s make this quick
