Your outstretched arm is as strong as our troopers
Reminding us that with strength there is nothing
That can tear us apart.
Your draping gown, both loose and tight,
Reminds us that we can still win the fight.
When melancholia and gloom choke
Our nation with their evil hands,
You will remind us that there is peace in the land.
You will remind us of our omnipresent God.
You will remind us of our dignity.
And you will provide national symmetry,
Because you are Lady Liberty.
